


LMC Workholding is the present entity of Logansport Machine Company, which from 1916 has carried the reputation for the quality engineering and manufacturing of a variety of machining workholding products including rotating cylinders, power chucks and wheel chucks.
In 1989 LMC began selling MMK-brand power chucks and cylinders from Japan's Matsumoto Machine. More recent additions to LMC’s line up of international workholding partnerships: Atling and Richter steady rests. Sweden’s Atling has long been associated with leading hydraulic steady rest engineering and manufacturing. Standard and special models with gripping diameters from .118” to 40” or larger are available. Germany’s Richter manual steady rests are engineered to your application and feature gripping diameters from .788” to 59.1”. Taiwan’s Chandox offers a complete line of standard chucks and cylinders.
The latest additions to the LMC partnerships are Germany’s Stiefelmayer and Spain's Talleres de Guernica. For highly specialized clamping tools, Stiefelmayer is your choice for unique chucks and mandrels. Talleres de Guernica is Spain’s leading producer of large hydraulic, manual and air chucks.
