Open Steady Rest (Type 7)
The open steady rest shown below is used on a 2 Revolver Okuma Machine. It is suitable for small batches and can be scaffolded within a few minutes. The clamping range of this steady extends up to 3.94" diameter. Currently, a customer is using this steady for the small-lot production up to a range of 2.75" diameter.
